About
Welcome to Supporting The Journey. I’m Barbara Cubanski, and I have always been passionate about enhancing and supporting every phase of the human experience. My journey has been dedicated to fostering growth, peace, and well-being in individuals and families.
My Background:
I hold a formal degree in Human Development and am a trained Waldorf early childhood educator. My certifications include teaching expressive arts, infant parent care, and working as an end-of-life specialist and death doula.
For many years, I have taught meditation in a variety of corporate and other settings, guiding adults to discover their inner core of satisfaction, intuition, and peace. My experience spans over two decades of teaching young children and offering classes and individualized coaching for parents.
My Passion:
I am deeply committed to helping individuals and families navigate the challenges associated with chronic illness, acute health problems, aging, and end-of-life transitions. My goal is to identify what is needed and how to provide the support that allows for a satisfying and balanced life through all the phases we encounter during our lifespan.
My Roots:
I grew up in Chicago in a family dedicated to supporting the principles of equality, peace, and justice through service. In 1983, I moved to Southern California, where I married and had one child. Alongside my teaching career, I enjoyed traveling and caring for a variety of dogs. Additionally, I volunteered as a trauma specialist, working with first responders to support families and communities in times of crisis.
Why I Do What I Do:
My diverse background and extensive experience have equipped me with the skills and empathy needed to provide exceptional care and support. Whether it’s through teaching, coaching, or providing hands-on assistance, my mission is to enhance the quality of life for every individual I work with.
I look forward to the opportunity to work together supporting you and your loved ones and making a meaningful difference in your lives.
